Appraisal Scope Updates
Week of 10/30/2017

Happy Friday everyone,

With the Fee Itemization project behind us, we're back to rocking releases at full tilt.  We had two releases this week, both with several hard hitting and useful additions.  Here are some of the highlights.

New Features

  • Those customers utilizing the RealCondition Reports integration will be glad to know that when viewing an RCR order in Appraisal Scope, there is a new tab called RCR Direct Messages which can be used to send/receive messages directly with the RCR vendor.
  • In the report type Appraiser>Notes, we added an "Added By" field.  Somewhere, out there, beneath the pale moonlight, is someone very excited about this addition.

Integrations

  • This one is YUUUGE! The default Loan Types in Mercury Network have been added to Appraisal Scope's default Loan Types.  What this means is that orders originating in Mercury Network will now always come over to Appraisal Scope with the correct loan type automatically selected.
  • The FNC platform has a status called "Escalated Review", which when sent to Appraisal Scope was causing the process status to change to Revision Requested.  Now, when Appraisal Scope receives that status from FNC, no process status change will trigger.
  • We addressed a scenario where two additional document types would not pass through to Mercury Network.

Maintenance

  • You can now allow clients to see bids submitted on orders and all appraiser's information is completely masked.
  • ValuePad appraisers can now see the AMC's license, expiration date, and client fee.
  • Corrected an issue preventing updated ACH information entered in ValuePad from syncing with Appraisal Scope.
  • Corrected an issue with ValuePad appraiser credentials not updating.
  • Corrected an issue with syncing ValuePad appraiser documents with Appraisal Scope.
  • Corrected an issue with properly displaying messages to the appraiser in ValuePad.

Last but not least, a few parting thoughts.  This year has been interesting, shall we say, in Appraisal Scopeland.  But this is going to be a milestone year for us.  The benefits of joining with Mercury Network, and then CoreLogic, are becoming very apparent.  We now have more resources, more structure, and more focus than we've ever had.  As a result, our 2018 roadmap is dialed in.

One of the key initiatives for 2018 that we're already working on is extending the Scope platform to support different types of vendors and services, such as agents/BPOs and Inspectors.  Let your imagination run from there. We're pumped!

If you would like to talk more specifically about the 2018 roadmap, please let just let us know and we'll be glad to set up a time to get together.

Have a great weekend, and cheers to an exciting future together!
