Appraisal Scope Updates
Week of 12/4/2017

Good day!

This week was action packed!  Below are the items we released, including several new features, bug fixes, integration enhancements, and back-end optimizations.

New Features

  • In the Accounting tab, when viewing Aging Balance, you can now see a list of reports for any client based on one of the selected date ranges.  So for example, if there is a balance for Client X in the 60+ Day column, clicking the dollar amount owed will pop open a window that shows the orders for which there is a balance.
  • An email can now be sent to the appraiser automatically if the Staff user updates the fee, so they are aware.  In Settings>Emails, look for the new Appraiser template called "Appraiser fee changes".
  • In the Messages queue in the Dashboard, the "Last Update" droplist has been changed to be a multi-select.  This gives staff the ability to filter for more than one update at a time.

Bugs Fixes

  • A specific appraiser's profile on a specific customer's Scope site couldn't be edited by specific Staff users. We worked through all that specificity to resolve the issue.
  • There was an issue with the way appraiser fees were calculating when based on a percentage of the client fee.  This has been corrected.
  • We corrected a couple of issues causing Staff user to not receive the email notifications that are configured to be sent.  Fixed.
  • There was an issue with a Supervisor appraiser being unable to upload an appraisal to an order assigned to the Trainee appraiser.  Fixed.
  • Found a situation where an appraiser was able to upload an appraisal to a Complete order, thus resetting the status to Revision Received.  Fixed.
  • We corrected a scenario where if Instructions are configured to be pulled from the Branch level, they were still pulling from the Company level.

Integration Enhancements

  • The RealEC integration has been updated to correct an issue with payment information synchronizing from Scope to RealEC.
  • The Client API has been updated to support returning a Loan Number along with the AppraisalID and FileID.
  • Added an additional way to the Client API to send a notification that a refund has been applied to an order.

Back-End Optimizations

  • Nerd Alert!  When turning on caching for all customers, we found an issue with using the cluster instead of the individual machines. We changed those servers back to individual machines for the caching initiative.
  • Nerd Alert Part 2! We found an issue with sessions caching the permissions, so we updated permissions so they are not stored in sessions any longer.
  • Nerd Alert Part 3!  We inserted a script to remove session garbage.

As always, we want to thank you for your ongoing support, input, and partnership.  Please let us know if you have any questions.
