Appraisal Scope Release Notes

Appraisal Scope Updates — Week 50

This week we released two updates which included the changes below. See the in-product snapshot here.

New Features

  • We've added a new tag called "Loan Officer" that can be used in setting up documents in Settings>Document Upload>Create Document.
  • Superadmins had a super power missing, in that previously they could not generate ALL reports in the Reports tab. Now they can!
  • We made a change where an ECD, once entered, cannot be edited without the appraiser inputting a reason. That reason is then sent to you and shown in the Messages queue, as well as added to the Notification Log on the order.
  • In the Add Users tab on a Client profile, you can now click a user's name and go directly to their profile. Back in the olden days (last Monday), you had to search for the user in the Search panel in order to be able to navigate to the user's actual profile.
  • We've added the "Unaccepted" element to the Appraiser Statistics category in the General report type.
  • When requesting and managing bids, you can now open the Bids window on the order, and resubmit the bid request to an appraiser who previously declined to bid. This allows them to re-bid.
  • When ordering AVMs or RealCondition Reports, you can now override address validation via a setting under Settings>Options.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected an issue to ensure review staff get email notifications in the Ready For Review, and Revision Received statuses.
  • We also corrected an issue that told clients the "Due date must be greater than the current date" when ordering a 1004D, when the client does not have access to edit the due date.
  • Going forward, SSRs will not be overwritten. When additional SSRs are retrieved, the previous SSRs will be retained on the order.
  • We fixed a bug where clicking "Customer Rating" on an appraiser's profile should show the break down of that score, however when clicked no results were being shown.
  • A scenario was reported that allowed an appraiser to see docs uploaded by the client, before being set to be visible to the appraiser. This has been corrected.
  • We fixed a weird deal where appraiser set themselves to be on vacation, and yet every night at 11pm the system would take them off vacation. Mystery solved on that one.

Integrations

  • FNC: We have added two new fields to the Order Details tab on FNC integrated orders. You'll now see the FNC Processor Name and FNC Processor Email displayed, and these fields will now update if/when changed on the FNC side.
  • Admin API: We have added the Internal ID to the Client User Profile, and this can be queried for via the Admin API.
  • Mercury Network: Lender Group name mapping from Mercury Network to Appraisal Scope can now be accomplished.
  • InHouse: We worked with InHouse to change the way authentication and data retrieval works via the API URL.
  • LendingQB: There was a situation where order updates were not flowing from the receiving AMC back to the lender's Appraisal Scope platform, and on back up into Lending QB. Fixed.

Optimizations

  • We found some variables that were incorrect in the cron job for the clean up script. The variables have been corrected. (Listen folks, we don't make the news, we just report it.)
  • We optimized the way that Notification emails are generated, which adds a bit more speed to the system. It may not be extremely noticeable to you, but every tweak helps.
