Appraisal Scope Release Notes

Appraisal Scope Updates — January 25, 2018

This week we released two updates which included the changes below. See the in-product snapshot here.

Appraisal Scope Updates - January 25, 2018
This update adds the Auto Assign functionality to the Branch level, includes some new options for Reminder notifications, some bug fixes in the Dashboard and much more.

New Features

  • We have now added the Auto Assign functionality to the Branch and Individual levels of client company profiles.  This can be enabled by going to a client user's profile, and under User Settings, change Auto Assign to Branch Level.
  • You can now edit (locally) the Vendor Status, Internal ID, and Max Orders fields on ValuePad appraiser's profiles.
  • We have added a new option in Settings>Reminders, to allow you to include only business hours, and exclude holidays, when the system calculates when to send the Unaccepted Reminder, Bid Closing Reminder, and Revision Reminder to appraisers.
  • You can now configure the "Default Approaches To Be Included" on the commercial order form, via Settings>Options>Order Form.
  • Speaking of the Bid Closing Reminders specifically, it can now account for business hours and holidays.  For example, if there is a 12 hour bid time set at 2PM EST and your business hours are 7AM - 5PM EST, the system will realize that only 3 hours will be utilized today, and extend it so that the additional 9 hours don't start counting until 7AM tomorrow.  This would mean the bid period would actually expire at 4PM EST the day after it is set.
  • We've added a new Staff email notification that is triggered when the Loan Type is set to Purchase, and the Purchase Price entered on the order is greater than the appraised value pulled from the appraisal  XML.  To turn this on, go to the Order Management section of the Company Settings tab on a client profile.  The setting is called "Notify Staff User if Appraised Value is less than the Purchase Price on appraisal".
  • You can now restrict client users who have multiple branches from seeing the processors and loan officers from other branches when submitting orders.  This is a new setting in the Client Users section of the Company Settings tab on a client profile.
  • The "Appraised Value" tag has been added to the "In Review" client email notification template.

Bugs

  • We changed the system so it will not get hung up if you search for an appraiser during assignment, whose name contains an apostrophe.
  • An issue was corrected that prevented the Dashboard from updating to show the Latest Updates correctly.
  • The Last Update filter in the On Hold queue was filtering incorrectly.  Proper filtration has been restored.
  • We squashed a bug that made it so that when you edited the column headings in a Dashboard queue, and then did an export, the newly added column heading (and data) was not included.  This has been corrected.

Integrations

  • The Auto Accept function in the Mercury Network integration has been corrected.
