Appraisal Scope Release Notes

Appraisal Scope Updates — February 20, 2018

This week we released two updates which included the changes below. See the in-product snapshot.

New Features

  1. In Settings>Emails, in the Email Templates for Borrower/Contact section, those templates now have a new tag available called "Fees (Appraiser fees breakdown".  This tag works like a block of text, pulling in the Job Type and any add-ons, and will show the itemized cost along with a total fee.
  2. We have added a new set of Staff Permissions, found under the Staff tab, allowing extremely granular control over what actions a staff user can or cannot take when editing an Appraiser's profile.
  3. A new setting has been added under Company Settings on a Client profile, allowing you to require the appraiser to input the As Repaired Value (ARV) when uploading their report to the order. This can be configured on a per client and per job type basis.
  4. We've made even more enhancements to the reminder email options for appraiser profile reminders, under Settings>Reminders.  After this update is released, you'll have the ability to customize the timing of the delivery of the License and E&O expiration reminders even more to your liking.
  5. Admins will now have the ability to set the default Client Displayed on Report in the Client On Report tab to a different COR other than the name on the profile.  Look for a droplist with a title of Default, on the Client On Report tab.
  6. In the Appraiser Assignment search results grid, the Appraiser's first and last names are now broken out into columns, and you can set them to sort by first or last name, by default.
  7. We've added two new fields to the Order Details tab: Appraiser Payment History and Appraiser Paid Status are now shown on the order, so you do not have to go to the Accounting tab to view this information.
  8. We've added a new set of reporting fields to the Client:User List report type, called Client User Settings.  This will allow you to create a report allowing you to check on a number of configuration items for your client profiles.
  9. The "Appraiser Fee" tag has been added to the ACH Payment Email and New Order email templates for appraisers.

Bug fixes

  1. If Appraisal Scope Customer A assigns an order to Appraisal Scope Customer B, and Customer A includes an Additional Document with a Type label that does not exist on Customer B's platform, that Additional Document will be associated with the Type label of Other on Customer B's platform.
  2. We fixed an issue that related to the automatic logouts configured in Scope.  If a review was looking at a manual QC checklist in a different tab from Scope, and Scope timed out, the reviewer was being kicked out of Scope without having seen the time out warning.
  3. We fixed a handful of bugs relating to viewing appraisal reports in Side By Side mode.
  4. Fixed a bug causing RealViews to not auto-generate when they should.  Seems to often have been related to cloned orders.  Anybody remember Multiplicity?
  5. We fixed a bug that was preventing status updates to flow between Appraisal Scope platforms.  Customer A assigned to Customer B, Customer B updated the order's status, and the status did not reflect properly on Customer A's platform.  This has been resolved.
  6. An issue has been corrected where revised appraisals were not being sent automatically to Clear Capital for QC.  This has been resolved.
  7. An issue was reported where a job type Report was displaying job types that are no longer a part of the client's fee schedule.  Fixed.
  8. An issue causing the message prompt "Jobtype does not exist on the assigned fee schedule" to display when searching for appraisers to assign to, has been resolved.  This seems to have been related to Encompass submitted orders.
  9. An issue has been resolved causing certain orders submitted via Encompass to show as a Purchase, when they are not a Purchase.  Fixed.
  10. The "Allow Client to email Report and Additional Documents" setting was duplicated in Company User settings, and this has been corrected.

Integrations

  1. The Modification Request workflow with the Mercury Network integration to Scope has been implemented.
  2. The Admin API has been updated to allow 3rd parties to pull the following turn time data sets: 30 Day Turn Time (Optional Submission filters – State), 365 Turn Time (Optional Submission filters – State), Turn Time by State and Loan Type 30 Days (Submission Requirements – State), Turn Time by County and Loan Type 30 Days (Submission Requirements – State), and Turn Time by State and Loan Type 365 Days (Submission Requirements – State).
