Appraisal Scope Release Notes

Appraisal Scope Updates — April 3, 2018

This week we released two updates which included the changes below. See the in-product snapshot.

New Features

  1. We've added a new feature in Client>Company Settings, in the Order Management section, called "Show 'Additional Comments' field to assigned vendor".  This is Enabled by default, which keeps the current behavior.  But you can now go change that to Disabled, and the assigned vendor will not see the Additional Comments field on an order.
  2. We've made some long overdue improvements to the user interface when sending a message from the Email Office tab.  You can now more easily send a message to multiple recipients and attach documents, on top of its new and improved look and feel.  Check it out.  Check a box.  So nice.
  3. In the Appraiser's view, they can now sort their open orders by Estimated Completion Date.  (Kinda thought that already existed…)
  4. We've added some new fields to the Revisions/Stipulations report group.  You can now include the Branch Ordered For Address 1, Address 2, Branch Name, Branch ID and Group ID.
  5. In the Appraiser Statements tab in Accounting, you can now sort and select appraisers by Internal ID.
  6. The Unaccepted Email and Unaccepted Reminder email templates now have the Job Type and Appraiser Fee tags.

Bug Fixes

  1. It's W9 season…we corrected an issue that was causing the appraiser's EIN or SSN to be removed from their profile when editing.  And to boot, the Staff email notification wasn't firing when the appraiser's W9 info was changed.
  2. Due Dates… we made a number of tweaks for reported issues regarding automated Due Date calculations.  Look for a separate communication on those if you were one who'd reported issues with this function.
  3. Corrected an issue causing RealViews not to autogenerate.
  4. Corrected an issue preventing a Daily Summary report from generating correctly for a customer.
  5. We tracked an issue down that was causing order edits to not save when a specific Loan Type and Intended Use combo were selected.  That made our eyelid twitch too.
  6. Corrected an issue where the appraiser would log in to confirm Inspection Completed, and the system would log the Inspection date/time as the time they checked the box, not the time that was scheduled on the order.
  7. We tweaked the way report data is formatted in groups for certain reports.

Integrations

  1. Our Admin API has been updated to allow the sending of an invoice and/or a payment link to the borrower or client.
  2. Our Client API has been updated to add Legal Description when creating new appraisal orders.
