Appraisal Scope Update 5/15/2018

Happy Monday Morning!

This week's update (tomorrow) focuses primarily on fixing or enhancing several of the integrations used by Appraisal Scope customers and their clients.  Please take a moment to read the information below, especially if you receive orders via the FNC integration,.

One key change in this update involves incoming messages from FNC-integrated clients.  To provide some background on this, until now Appraisal Scope has been incorrectly hiding some of those messages from admin users, and this has caused some customers to report that messages they are expecting to see displayed in Appraisal Scope were missing.  This was caused by a combination of user behavior/settings within FNC's product when creating new messages, and incorrect filtering within Appraisal Scope.

With this release, we've corrected the filtering on messages from the Appraisal Scope side, and as such all messages from FNC will process into their respective orders within Appraisal Scope as they are received.  As such, you will likely notice many new messages in your Messages queue for orders which were previously not displayed.  This is expected, and is a result of this change.

What can you do about these messages?  Many will be old, and the best course of action is probably to simply log them without notifying your client or appraiser.  However, only you can safely make the distinction.  If you want to mark several older messages in your messages queue as "Logged" without notifying the client or appraiser, it's quick and easy.  Just check the box under the "Action" column for any/all messages you want to dismiss, click the red "Delete" button (don't worry, it will still log them in the order), and then pick "All Selected Messages".

Once you've cleared out the backlog of messages you may see, only new messages will appear just as you're used to seeing now.  We apologize for the one-time inconvenience.  Going forward, our policy is that we will show all messages sent from integrations, intentionally showing more information rather than less.

See below for more details, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to your account manager or our client relations team.

Integrations

1. Received messages previously not displayed in an order's Notification Log will now be shown in the message queue for processing to users and the log as desired.

2. You can now map incoming values for the following fields on FNC-integrated orders:  Loan Type, Property Type, Intended Use, Occupancy Type.

3. The built-in system template "Compliance Certificate" can now be delivered via the order completion screen to FNC for select clients.

4. If you are using lender groups with the Mercury Network integration for a client, you can now configure a default user for orders that do not contain any lender group.

5. For RealEC-integrated orders, the cancellation process has been improved to more accurately track cancellation requests and client-approval.

Other New Features

1. When a new client signs-up on an Appraisal Scope platform, the email sent to admin users once-again includes the name and contact details of the individual who filled out the form.

2. When sending an email office message to multiple types of order users, the appropriate "Message" template for each recipient type is used.

Bug Fixes

1. The system template for Delivered Certification is now pushed to the Michigan Mutual integration.

2. Incorrect information for the Client Displayed on Report is no longer shown in the ValuePad system.

3. Sorting of orders by "Completed Date" in the Dashboard now works as expected.

4. Orders are no longer automatically assigned to AMCs who have been removed from the approved AMC panel list.

5. Payment details are now retained for admin users in order to facilitate processing additional payments on an order.

6. Some appraisers were unable to update their payment information for orders.  This has been corrected.
