Appraisal Scope Release Notes

Appraisal Scope Updates — May 22, 2018

This week we released two updates which included the changes below. See the in-product snapshot here.

New Features

  • Client Signup - Instructions created by client administrators at the company, branch, or user level, will now be included with the order, in addition to the instructions created by the Appraisal Scope admin.
  • Client Signup - Company administrators will no longer be able to see or adjust the "Acceptance Message" on the Instructions screen at the company, branch, or user level.
  • Client Signup - Client Administrators, when viewing the user profiles for their Client Company will now see a User Settings tab, which includes Email Notification settings, Lock Documents, Lock New Appraisal Request, and Read-only.

Bug Fixes

  • On the Order Form, the Ordered For and Notify Users droplists are now alphabetically sorted.  (Sorry about that…)
  • Client Signup - when signing up a new client company or client user, the Country and State/Province dropdowns will not change back to US if a field fails the validation checks.
  • Client Signup - On the Client Validation screen, when looking in the Company Details panel for existing companies, the term "Pick" in the Action column has been changed to Select, to make it more clear to the user as to what action they are about to take.
  • Client Signup - When creating a branch with a name that is identical to an existing branch name, a message will be displayed to the user stating, "There is already a branch by that name in the selected company."
  • Corrected an issue that prevented the deletion of Client Users from the Add Users tab.
  • Corrected an issue that was causing the Company Signature tag in templates to merge incorrectly.

Integrations

  • Additional status codes sent via the FNC integration can now be received by Appraisal Scope.
  • The "FNC ID #" field has been added to the Appraisals>Super Search tab as a searchable field.
  • Under Users>Client>[Company]>Client On Report, when clicking the Green plus sign a new option called "Use FNC Setting" has been added.  This will allow Appraisal Scope to show the Client Displayed On Report name from the FNC side.  (Note: This specifically solves the Franklin American Mortgage Company vs Franklin American Mortgage Company - Retail name handling issue.)
  • When an FNC order is accepted on Scope, but the system determines the credentials to be invalid, you will now see this message: "Appraisal Scope received the following error message when attempting to automatically accept the order from FNC: %messageFromFNC%.  If you have recently updated your FNC credentials, you may need to contact Appraisal Scope support to update them in your settings. One updated, manually attempt to accept the order again using the button in the order detail screen."
  • Updated the RealEC integration to handle the 410 event so that it includes Vendor Name and Vendor License.
