Appraisal Scope Release Notes

Appraisal Scope Updates — April 10, 2019

Today's update includes a new highly-requested feature which provides evidence when someone agrees to the payment terms and conditions for an order, and what those terms and conditions were at the time the payment was made. To accomplish this, there is a new document and setting now available.

New document

  • A new system document titled "Proof of agreement to payent terms & conditions. This document will track who agreed to the payment terms, as well as the payment details. There are two versions of this document:
    • One version for payments submitted by a client or staff user
    • Another version for payments made when you send a payment link to your customer

New setting

  • When you've enabled the ing to Attach proof of agreement to payment terms & conditions, there will now by a new setting under SETTINGS / OPTIONS / Payment Form called Attach proof of agreement to payment terms & conditions.
  • When this setting is enabled, each time a credit card payment is made on an order, a copy of the new document (mentioned above) will be generated and attached to the library on the order. The template used for this document will depend on who is submitting the payment.

Reminder: Appraisers will soon be required to agree to the End User License Agreement (EULA).

  • Just a reminder: On May 1, 2019, your appraisers will be required to agree to the EULA in order to continue receiving and managing orders via Appraisal Scope. You might recall this was originally scheduled earlier in the year, but was delayed to allow for plenty of time for communication.
