Appraisal Scope Release Notes

Appraisal Scope Updates — January 20, 2021

This release includes a new mass delete functionality for the UPDATES queue, a new exported report engine, and improved password security.

New features

  • You can now select multiple updates within the UPDATES tab, up to the entire displayed page, and delete them at the same time.
  • In June of 2020, we implemented functionality to hide passwords in the Staff tab by default for all staff users. With this release, we have extended that functionality to all remaining places within Appraisal Scope where a password was previously shown. If password visibility is enabled for your platform, you can show the password by clicking the small ‘peek’ icon next to the hidden password.
  • You can now selectively choose to export report results as either an Excel file or a comma-separated values (CSV) file. You can also specify for each existing or new report alert created which format you would prefer be attached to the email. For the majority of reports, the recommendation (and the new default on existing alerts when introduced) is CSV format because it generates substantially faster, supports larger data sets, and creates significantly smaller attachments for delivery or download.
  • A new /assignOrder endpoint is being introduced to allow for integrated order assignment via the admin API. This new endpoint supports assigning orders to individual appraisers, or if multiple appraiser ID values are passed in a bid will be created automatically. Documentation for using this new endpoint is found in the API documentation available from https://www.mercuryvmp.com/integrations.

Bugs

  • The Appraiser’s Daily Digest is now consistently delivered if configured to do so. (Resolved in an out-of-band deployment on 12/17/2020.)
  • When generating the Appraiser Statement for a day or date range that contained a large resulting dataset, creation of the PDF was being abandoned after an extended period of time before the dataset was returned. This has been resolved.
  • The Reps & Warrants percentage calculations have been improved to ignore a 0 value.
  • When configuring either the Profit Margin or Max Distance parameters within the auto assign settings by county, some counties would not save the distance value stored.
  • When ordering a RealCondition Report, the contact information is now passed to QVP, making it available within NVMS.
  • You may now deliver manual invoices via the FNC CMS integration as desired. Only one invoice may be delivered to FNC.
  • In rare cases, a new unpaid Mercury Network order would appear in the New view when configured to display unpaid orders in the On Hold view.
  • The Client on Report advanced filter in the MESSAGES view of the Dashboard now filters dashboard results as expected.

Performance Improvements

  • Updating an appraiser’s Address for Assignment was previously taking several minutes to save the requested changes. This process was optimized and now saves changes faster.
