November 29, 2018 - "Ant-Man" Update

This update contains enhancements in Mercury Network's Quality and Valuation Products.

New Features

For better protection of your account data, the password reset feature which sends your password to you via email has been replaced with one that’s more robust.

To reset your password, you may continue using the Forgot Password? link shown in the login dialog at PlatData.com.
Once you click Forgot Password?, you will be directed to a Reset Password page where you can enter your username. When finished, click Reset Password.
Once you submit your username, you will receive an email with a subject of Password reset request. In the email will be a Reset now button, which can be used to reset your password within the next 15 minutes. (Note: If your password wasn’t changed within 15 minutes, you’ll need to start the password reset process over.)
Once you click the Reset now button in the email, you will be directed to a Change Password page where you will enter your new password and then Submit. Your new password must contain 8 characters, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number or special character.
Once you successfully submit your new password, you may begin using it to log in. Also, you will receive an email with a subject of Password changed, confirming your password was changed.

Your account’s admin user may now reset a user’s password from the Edit User page. A Reset password link will be shown beneath the email address field. When clicked, the user will receive a Password reset request email with a Reset now button which expires after 15 minutes. If the user doesn't change their password within that timeframe then the password reset process must be started over.

We updated the security headers across our PlatData.com site to strengthen security, allowing us to better protect your data from unauthorized access.

To improve the reliability of the appraiser registry information you use in your QC and due-diligence reviews, we made several upgrades to the process which retrieves and stores information from the ASC (Appraisal Sub Committee). It's now more stable, accounts for daylight savings time, and allows us to provide more up-to-date information.
