This update (the last release of 2020) contains enhancements in Mercury Network's Quality and Valuation Products.

• RealView's scoring rules were updated.
  • This release implements our project to update and maintain RealView’s scoring rules. This project has been executed by subject matter experts — seasoned valuation professionals, including certified appraisers, who have a wealth of experience, both in the field and the quality-control process. They have spent extensive time reviewing, calibrating, and testing RealView's scoring rules to ensure the severity levels accurately represent the current collateral valuation risk environment as well as potential areas within the report that merit review.
  • At the same time, any obsolete rules have been removed so your underwriting team can confidently evaluate issues in the report based on RealView's checklist without wasting time on irrelevant issues.
  • This is an ongoing initiative which is intended to keep RealView's appraisal scores accurate so your underwriting workflow stays efficient while mitigating risk for your lending program.
• RealView's compliance rules have been audited.
  • We know you rely on the compliance rules within RealView's UCDP/EAD section to proactively address issues in the report prior to submitting to the UCDP or EAD portal. Our seasoned valuation professionals have completed an audit of these rules by pulling over 160 actual UCDP and EAD hard stops and checking RealView for coverage. We confirmed that RealView covers each of those rules in the UCDP/EAD section of the report, which means that your underwriting team will be able to eliminate potential portal hard stops or warnings before reports are submitted.
