Mercury Network 3.0 - October 23, 2019 Update
This update contains enhancements within Mercury Network. See the blog post here.
Mercury Network - Performance Improvements
- To make the Orders page load faster, we improved the way order counts are loaded for each status folder. Now, the page will load immediately so you can use it while order counts are calculated, during which you'll see a Retrieving message until the order counts are complete.
- We improved efficiency for the servers that power Mercury Network. Specifically, we reduced the number of times an often-used function is required to run during normal system use. This has reduced the overall system load to enable better performance.
Mercury Network - General
- A specific set of factors caused the order count for the Action Required folder to show inconsistent values. This has been fixed.
- Past-due orders sometimes displayed the Action Required banner after clicking Remove from action required. This has been corrected.
Mercury Network - Appraiser Information
- There were instances when the VMP client was able to see the appraiser's name, despite settings to the contrary. This has been resolved.
- To support compliance, when the setting to display the vendor's fee on the invoice is on and an AMC generates the invoice, the appraiser's fee will be included while excluding the appraiser's name or company information.
Mercury Network - RealView Bridge
- Orders which are submitted for completion via the plugin for a la mode's WinTOTAL software will be quality checked using RealView Bridge according to the settings for each order.
Mercury Network - Vendors
- We corrected an issue which prevented the bidding process from working properly for CDAIR orders.
- We recently released the option to hide the lender during the bidding process. However, vendors could still search by the lender's name and see those bidding orders. We have made changes so that bid orders where the lender is hidden will not be searchable by the lender name.
- There were cases when orders which a vendor had deleted were "undeleted" when another order's conditions were accepted by their client. This has been resolved.
Mercury Network - Order Management
- We recently added the ability to automatically submit FHA Conversion appraisals to the EAD portal. However, those were returning an error because the first appraisal was being submitted to slot 2. This has been corrected.
Mercury Network - Notifications
- When an appraiser accepts a commercial bid order, the notification sent to the client will include the due date which was set in the awarded bid.
Mercury Network - XSites
- When a new VMP XSite client is created, new default permissions will be applied to make sure the client's login is properly created. These permissions will be enabled by default, and you can make changes for each new client if needed:
- Permitted to sign into my XSite
- Permitted to place orders on my XSite
- Permitted to place orders via integration
- Permitted to change username and password
- Previously, the Order Completed notification sent to the VMP XSite client did not include two decimal places in the Fee field. Now, the notification will include the complete fee amount including dollars and cents.
