Mercury Network 3.0 - January 8, 2020 Update
This update contains enhancements within Mercury Network. See the blog post here.
Mercury Network - New Product
- To streamline your commercial appraisal workflow, we've added a new product called Commercial Appraisal Update/Re-Inspection of Repairs. This product is particularly well suited for commercial construction deals where the construction has been completed or for those where a remodel is finished, so the final appraisal inspection can be completed.
Mercury Network - New Feature
- Toward our ongoing goals of increased transparency and support for compliance audits, we've added a new Fee Panel Review Suggested notification. This email will be sent to the admin (and their additional email addresses) when any of the following happens with a vendor who is on your fee panel:
- The vendor modifies critical information on their profile
- The vendor gets deactivated
- The vendor is deleted from the system.
- The notification will be sent to notify you of these changes for the Appraiser/Agent, AMC/Firm and Ineligible Vendors lists.
Mercury Network - Order Management
- You let us know that the maximum appraisal bid fee of $30k doesn't accommodate some of your complex commercial orders. So, the maximum appraisal bid fee for commercial orders has been increased to $500k.
- There were instances when changing the fee on a commercial order using Set Status or by clicking the Client fee link in Order Details resulted in an error message. This has been fixed.
- When saving your commercial Vendor Selection Settings, the bid fee and due date will now default to being unlocked.
- For orders where the Lender/AMC is responsible for paying the transaction fee, there were cases when the fee couldn't be changed via the Mercury Network order if the order had reached the QC Review status. This has been corrected.
Mercury Network - Notifications
- When an appraiser delivered the appraisal via TOTAL Connect's Mercury Network plugin, there were cases when the assigned QC Reviewer didn't receive the intended notification. This has been resolved.
Mercury Network - Invoices
- When an order was originally assigned to an appraiser who let the assignment expire, then the appraiser who accepted the order completed it using TOTAL Connect's Mercury Network plugin, the invoice was not reflecting the correct vendor's name. This has been corrected.
Mercury Network - Reporting
- In some cases, VMP XSite users encountered errors, delays, or inaccurate results when creating or using reports in Business Management which contained a filter that prompted the user for information. This has been resolved.
Mercury Network - Performance and Security
- We performed optimizations and upgrades to improve the platform's security and speed. In particular, calculations regarding vendor ratings will occur more quickly than they did previously.
