Mercury Network 3.0 - August 19, 2020 Update

This update contains enhancements within Mercury Network. See the blog post here.

New Features

  • There is a new product available in Mercury Network for lenders and AMCs who need to request that the appraiser complete the top and botttom portions of form 1004D. This new product allows a different fee to accommodate the additional work required. This product is called Appraisal Update/Inspection of Repairs & Recertification Report (FNMA 1004D) and is available as an add-on selection for residential orders. Lenders and AMCs can enable this in Product Requirements, while appraisers can indicate they services these orders by setting a fee in the Products tab under Users.

Mercury Network - XSites

  • We resolved an issue that prevented comments entered by VMP XSite clients from being viewed by appraisers in the Mercury Mobile app.
  • In the VMP XSites client portal, if a dollar sign was included in the fields for Sales Price, Loan Amount, or Estimated Value, the confirmation window would display blank values. Now, if a dollar sign is included in these fields a message will appear to notify the user that those fields must be numeric.
  • There was a scenario when a Mercury Network user saw an error message containing database details when viewing an order in Business Management. The database error message has been replaced with a helpful message containing instructions and support contact information.
  • There were cases when order documents appeared to be duplicated when an AMC viewed them in Business Management. This has been corrected.
  • When a new order was created in Business Management, there were cases when order assignment and synchronization didn't occur as intended. This has been resolved.
  • For AMCs that receive orders from a lender via the integration with CMS, you now have the ability to set a status of On Hold within Business Management.
  • An error message was displayed in Business Management when a Mercury Network user added comments to an order with an attached Submission Summary Report (SSR). This has been resolved, so the comment (and subsequent audit trail updates) are added correctly.

Mercury Network - Order Management

  • When viewing the Notes tab in an appraiser's profile, a Mercury Network user has the option to open an order related to previously entered assignment ratings. To make this option clearer, the link to the order will now display View order instead of the internal numbers associated with the order.

Mercury Network - User Management

  • When a Mercury Network Admin user creates a user whose email address matches that of a user who was previously deleted, the deleted user is restored. Now, when this occurs, the password for that restored user will be updated to the one entered by the admin user.
  • When a Mercury Network Admin user creates a new user, the password expiration date will now correctly reflect the Password security settings in the Account tab.
