Mercury Network 3.0 - September 2, 2020 Update

This update contains enhancements within Mercury Network. See the blog post here.

New Features

  • Automate the engagement letter for residential appraisals
You now have the ability to automatically attach a customized engagement letter to residential appraisal orders. This engagement letter template is available when you go to Preferences and choose Product Requirements. There, when you click Document templates, you can select Residential Engagement Letter (Default) in order to customize the template. You can use merge fields to pull in relevant order data, vendor data, your logo, as well as edit the message to suit your communication requirements and style. When the Residential Engagement Letter template is complete, you can edit the Product Requirements for any type of residential appraisal product to automatically attach the letter to orders for that product.
  • New products available for commercial orders
To support improved clarity about the types of commercial valuation orders your customer is ordering, we've introduced two new commercial products: Environmental Government Database Report and Environmental Transaction Screen Assessment.

Mercury Network - Product Requirements

  • When using customized Document templates, there were cases when a large amount of text within merge fields caused problems with the document margins, resulting in unreadable text sizes. This has been resolved.

Mercury Network - Order Management

  • If you log in to more than one Mercury Network account concurrently in multiple browser tabs or windows, there were cases when data would move between the separate accounts. To prevent this and protect the data in both accounts, now, when opening a new browser window or tab to access Mercury Network, you'll remain logged in to the same Mercury Network account as you were previously. To simultaneously access multiple Mercury Network accounts on the same device, you can open an Incognito (or equivalent) tab or a separate browser.
