Mercury Network 3.0 - May 19, 2021 Update
This update contains enhancements throughout the platform. See the blog post here.
New Features
Easily resend the Make a Payment email
- If your Mercury Network account is configured to automatically request a credit card payment from the borrower for their appraisal, this feature will come in handy. In cases when you need to re-send the Make a Payment email to the borrower, you can now quickly do so using a link you'll see in the audit trail. Plus, if the original email wasn't sent because the borrower's email address was missing from the order, you'll be prompted for their email address and it will be saved to the order. Previously, re-sending that email required a manual process that was time-consuming, so this upgrade was designed to save you time.
This automated payment-request email is just one portion of the overall appraisal-payments workflow, and we're excited about the upcoming release of features that will extend these capabilities. Soon, you'll be able to automatically pay appraisers via direct deposit for orders that are marked Complete. Click here to read more about these upcoming features.
Vendors' Completed folder will show most recent orders first
- For vendors who have used Mercury Network for a long time (well over a decade, in some cases) the Completed folder contains a large number of orders. Until now, this folder has been sorted to show oldest orders first, which meant managing orders could involve a lot of scrolling or using the Find tool. Now, based on your feedback, orders which have been recently completed will be shown first so you're more likely to see a relevant order at the top of the list.
Issue Resolutions
- When using the Candidate list to search for vendors on Mercury Network, you'll no longer encounter an error when a large number of vendors are displayed.
- We resolved an issue that caused an appraisal report to be automatically submitted to RealView twice if the report was delivered through our Mercury Desktop interface.
- For VMP orders that were submitted to FHA's EAD portal, there were cases when notifications to the client and additional recipients were not following your settings. This has been fixed.
- There were cases when a Mercury Network user with the Product Requirements permission could not view documents that were attached to a product in the Order Options section of Product Requirements. This has been fixed.
