Mercury Network 3.0 - July 8, 2021 Update
This update contains enhancements throughout the platform. See the blog post here.
New Features
- To make vendor management easier, there's a new way to mark a vendor ineligible to receive orders. This is done by selecting a vendor in the Candidate list (before the vendor is added to the Fee Panel) and clicking Mark ineligible. Click here and we'll show you how it works.
Previously, a vendor needed to be added to the Fee Panel before they could be marked ineligible. Based on your feedback, we understand this wasn't an intuitive workflow, which is why this new feature was added. As always, we appreciate hearing about ways to improve the platform, so keep it coming! - To improve your experience when using in-product walkthrough tutorials, we made changes to Mercury Network's security headers. These adjustments enable better step-by-step guidance during onboarding, training new employees, or streamlining your workflow by learning a new feature. At the same time, targeted security headers help keep the platform (and the data in it) secure and reliable. Click here to see a list of walkthrough tutorials for lenders, and here's a list for appraisers and other vendors.
- Lenders will see a new set of status folders in Order Management grouped under Direct Deposit. These are part of the upcoming accounting automation features, so they won't contain any orders right now, but they will soon. In addition, appraisers who are acknowledging an order will see an indicator for Direct Deposit. Currently, all orders will say No, but when you start paying appraisers with this method, they'll see Direct Deposit: Yes.

If you're already using Mercury Network, you likely won't see these changes. But, but by eliminating sign-up issues (which may require a phone call with our support team) you'll experience better responsiveness when you need help.
Issue Resolutions
- There were cases when when a bid was awarded to and accepted by a vendor for a commercial order, but the order was not updating to the correct status. This has been corrected so the order status will be properly updated to Award Accepted.
- When the Make a Payment link was successfully sent to the borrower, the related email notification to order stakeholders displayed HTML code instead of the payment link. This has been fixed, so the clickable payment link will appear correctly in the notification email.
- When using the Forgot Password tool, users sometimes received duplicate emails with the Reset Password link. This has been corrected.
- In some cases, bid orders that were completed were not being billed to the client as intended. This has been resolved.
- Documents that were automatically attached to an order per the lender's Product Requirements or Client Group settings were not visible to the AMC in Business Management, even though they were attached. This has been fixed so the attached documents are visible to the AMC.
