Mercury Network 3.0 - August 19, 2021 Update

This update contains enhancements throughout the platform. See the blog post here.

Issue Resolutions

  • Mercury Network verifies appraiser license information against the Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) database and displays the matched information so the lender and appraiser can see the results. There were cases when special characters that were received from the ASC database caused problems with the way an appraiser's information was displayed. This has been resolved.
  • Based on your settings in Product Requirements, Mercury Network helps you save time by automatically attaching your selected documents to a new order. There were cases when this wasn't happening as intended, but this has been resolved.
  • SureReceipts lets you securely deliver the completed appraisal to the borrower. It does so by providing a verified download link that gives them access to the appraisal while never sending the report via unsecured email. There were instances when the page used to securely view the appraisal became unresponsive, and this has been fixed.
  • For lenders who offer commercial loans, Mercury Network enables them to manage those appraisal orders alongside their residential workflow with the same compelling automation and customization. For commercial orders placed via the VMP portal, orders with a property type of Mixed Use didn't display the property type in Mercury Network. We fixed that.
  • Alternative valuations—such as OptiVal and RealCondition Report—which are available in Mercury Network, offer flexible options when a traditional appraisal isn't required or if further verification of an appraisal is needed. For Mercury Network accounts with those products enabled, we resolved an issue that prevented them from being displayed in Product Requirements.
