Enabling JavaScript


Many Mercury Network-supplied products require JavaScript to ensure proper operation.  Some internet browsers disable JavaScript by default and need to be activated for these products.  Below are helpful tips for turning on JavaScript with different browsers.

Safari on iOS 10 devices

  1. Go to Settings for your device.
  2. Scroll down and choose the Safari option.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and touch the Advanced item.
  4. Tap the button to the right of JavaScript to enable.
  5. Close and re-open your browser.

Safari on OS X

  1. Choose Safari > Preferences.
  2. Click Security.
  3. Check the boxes next to Enable Plug-ins, Enable Java, and Enable JavaScript.
  4. Make sure this check is not selected: Block pop-up windows.
  5. Refresh your browser.

Google Chrome on Windows and Mac OS

  1. Go to the Chrome menu and select Settings.
  2. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  3. Under "Privacy and security", click Content settings.
  4. Click JavaScript.
  5. Turn on Allowed (recommended).
  6. Refresh your browser.

Internet Explorer 11

  1. Select the Gear in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Select the Internet zone.
  4. Select the Custom level button.
  5. Scroll down to the Scripting area near the bottom.
  6. Select the Enable button for Active scripting.
