Mercury Network 3.0 - April 22, 2021 Update
This update contains enhancements throughout the platform. See the blog post here.
New Features
NPI Protection Options
- This release enables new protections for borrowers' NPI (non-public information) in email notifications sent from Mercury Network. If you missed our recent email about this, you can see it here.
- In our previous release, we added options to mask either the borrower name or the loan number when that information appears together in an email. The default setting will mask the borrower name, leaving the complete loan number visible. However, you can change this by going to Mercury Network's Account view, where you'll find a drop-down menu in the Security section where you can select Loan number. You can read more about this feature and see examples of the way masking will work here.
- The masking of borrower information is effective now. Click here for a quick walkthrough of these settings (admin or Manage account permissions required).
- As part of this initiative, we corrected instances where the Reference Number was incorrectly labeled as the Lender Case # in some email notifications. Going forward, the Reference Number will be labeled as such.
New Property Address Field for URLA
- Earlier this year, the new URLA (Uniform Residential Loan Application) form was released with a new Unit Type field in the property address. Today we have added the Unit Type field to property addresses throughout Mercury Network. This field is not required, but will be visible to all parties if used.
Updates to the Product Requirements Page
- As we prepare Mercury Network for exciting upcoming features, we're taking opportunities to update the platform to ensure new features are delightful and easy to adopt. One great example is the Product Requirements page.
- When you view the main Product Requirements page, you'll notice we've categorized the products into tabs, making it easier to find and edit a product within a large (and growing) list of products available within the platform.
- The Product Requirements page and the editing dialog have been redesigned and are powered by a modern framework, all of which enables greater efficiency and ease of use. For example, we've added in-line saving to these pages to reduce your number of clicks.
- The goal of this new functionality and layout is to save you time when editing products.
Issue Resolutions
- In cases when a 1004 or 1073 is mistakenly ordered or delivered, then that form is submitted to UCDP (thus retrieving a CU score) then the order is updated to a form which does not provide a CU score after UCDP submission, the CU score will be removed from the Mercury Network order. This resolves an issue that caused some Mercury Network orders to show a CU Score even for forms that don't receive a CU Score from the portal.
- The automated Statement of Engagement letter was using the admin name from the appraiser's account instead of the assigned appraiser's name. This has been resolved.
- To maintain the highest security for data in the platform, we are updating the Direct Integration Certificate used to encrypt communications with the UCDP. This won't have an impact on your workflow; just know that we constantly work to keep Mercury Network as secure as possible.
